Miriam Candoso
Miriam CandosoHead BJJ Professor, 3rd Degree Black Belt
Miriam Cardoso is a 5-time world Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu champion. Raised in Brazil, she trained under masters Hercules Baptista and Carlos Gracie Jr. Miriam is the head BJJ instructor for T3MA and has owned and operating a T3MA school for 8 years. Miriam
Andrea Emmell
Andrea EmmellBrazilian Jiu-Jitsu Professor, Black Belt
Andrea Emmel, Brazilian Black Belt from Rio de Janeiro has developed a great teaching style to share the skills she has developed on the way to winning 4 Brazilian Championships, Six State Championships (Rio de Janeiro), a World Championship in 2009 and the Pan America Championship in 2013. Andrea has been part of T3MA for seven years and owns and operated T3MA of Kirkland.
Jessica Santos
Jessica SantosBrazilian Jiu-Jitsu Professor, Black Belt
Professor Jessica Cristina Correa Arlindos dos Santos or “Preta Jeh” started to train Jiu Jitsu at age 14 in São Paulo – Brazil. She competed undefeated from 2007 – 2014 winning several titles including the Brazilian Championship in 2012. Since then Jessica has won numerous IBJJF Gi and No-Gi championships. Professor Jessica owns and operates T3MA of Bellevue.
Joel Burris
Joel BurrisBrazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Submission Grappling, Second Degree Black Belt
Joel has been training in Martial Arts for most of his life, but his journey in BJJ started in San Diego under Professor Marcelo Pereira in 1996. With a move to Seattle and starting his family Joel started teaching no-gi at a local gym. Nine years later Joel joined T3MA to train with Professor Miriam Cardoso and earned his Brown Belt in 2015 and his Black Belt in 2018. Professor Joel leads the T3MA No-Gi programs.
Maggie Pearson
Maggie PearsonHead Strength and Conditioning Coach
Maggie has a degree from WSU for sports management. Maggie has competed in heavy lifting, Figure and bodybuilding. Maggie has a National Association Sports Medicine (NASM) certificate and helping people change their lives inside and out is what drives her most. Maggie leads the T3MA Strength & Conditioning Program
